Information we collect and how we use it

We may collect the following types of information:

• Player identifier.
  When Diamond Blitz is first started, you will be assigned a randomly generated player identifier that is used to track your game results in our service. This identifier is an opaque number that does not include any personally identifiable information such as email address or contact information. We do not share this identifier with other players.
• Screen name.
  When you first start Diamond Blitz, you will be prompted to create a screen name. You have the option to change this screen name to a name of your choice. We reserve the right to change your screen name if it is offensive in nature.
• Game results.
  At the conclusion of each game, Diamond Blitz will submit your results, including your player identifier, screen name, and game play statistics (such as your score) to our service. We store these results to provide to other players who played the same game. We reserve the right to later analyze these results to provide a leaderboard, to detect cheating behavior, and to improve our game rules and algorithms. If we detect cheating behavior, we reserve the right to ban players from our game results and leaderboards.
• IP address.
  We collect IP addresses for web server traffic statistics.

In addition to the above, we may use the information we collect to provide, maintain, protect, and improve our services (including advertising services) and develop new services.

Information sharing

Hot Chai Productions, LLC does not share any of the information we collect with third parties, including third-party advertising services. Diamond Blitz includes, at least, the Microsoft Advertising control, and their privacy policy is available here: http://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/AdDisplay.mspx

Information security

We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures.

We restrict access to the information we collect to Hot Chai Productions, LLC employees and agents who need to know that information in order to process it on our behalf.

Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent. We will post any Privacy Policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice.
